can this be used as a "pre-emergent" for summer/spring weeds if sprayed throughout the yard? i applied it about 2 weeks ago to knock out some weeds in my backyard and had enough to spray the entire yard.
i usually apply this in February and wondering if i should use it since ive already applied cleggs

Atrazine is a pre-emergent if/when it makes its way into the soil. If applied as a pre-emergent, it should be watered in to get into to the soil. Surfactant in the cocktail in theory makes the atrazine stick to the grass blades, ie not in the soil. Plus I assume you didn't water in the cocktail since that wouldn't make sense. All of this to say I'd still put down the barricade.

had a good rain about 2 days after i applied and the weeds were already dead. my ratio may have been on the strong side but no damage to my st. aug
