Anyone have a brand they like that's held up over time? We really like Pottery Barn's selections, but some of their prices are a little nuts. $1k for a chaise lounge? If it lasts for a decade, fine. Not sure what the longevity would be though.

My bride bought some from Target a few years ago, genuine, artificial teak frames, but with really nice Sunbrella cushions. We are in 3rd year with them, sofa, 2 large chairs, and nice table for approx $1500...

Are you keeping the cushions put away or covered when not in use?

Under cover or out in the weather?
How much sun will the area get?

Just ordered polywood for around my pool and impressed with quality and should hold up well. Had a question when ordering and customer service was top notch, even followed up with me couple days later to make sure I had everything.

We recently bought some teak couches and composite Adirondacks from World Market. We had bought a previous set years and years ago that held up well. It’s well priced and will last pretty well.

Don’t know your domicile but if in south Louisiana, no point in buying anything pricey. It won’t last.

Full sun, no cover. I’m open to putting the cushions away when not in use.

I’m in south Alabama and I agree. Outdoor furniture is disposable unfortunately.

I’ve bought the less expensive stuff but figured it was more expensive over time since it didn’t hold up. Because of that I bought a set made Woodard. It’s good stuff and has held up very well for almost 10 years.

Only when rain chance is elevated. Have a large umbrella that protects it otherwise...

Go to Brians Furniture in Port Allen and get some cast aluminum. You can give it to your grandkids.

I second the Amish furniture polywood

It will be passed down to my great grandchildren, 8 years old and outside the entire time and you’d think it was brand new
