I've been trying to get 1 more year out of my old push mower for the last 3 years, and I think I've finally got to replace it.

Anyone bought a gas push mower recently they recommend?

I have a Toro self-propelled push mower purchased from Lowes in February 2011. I've changed the oil exactly one time and it still cranks up on the first try every single time. I couldn't be more impressed with it.

I have the same experience with my Toro. Only used it a handful of times a year when parts of my yard is too wet for the hustler. Starts in 3 or less pulls every time

Thanks.

I was leaning towards a Toro at Home Depot.

I had a Toro my dad bought sometime in the early 90's that was still rocking and rolling 5- years ago, but someone stole it when I went inside to get some water or something. I actually think it may have been junkers because it was Sunday and I left it sitting right where we would leave stuff to be picked up on the curb.

Replacing a Murray I got from my stepdad; that thing has lasted over 20 years as well. i was wondering if anyone had a newer model Murray to comment on as well

EGO self propelled. SO EASY TO USE MY WIFE CUTS THE DAMN GRASS. I still have to go trim, edge and blow but damn if that makes it so much easier when the middle chunk is done for you.

Get the Honda HRX217.

Had the Toro. It was fine. The drive had to be replaced a couple times so I dumped it. The Honda is heavier but a big improvement over the Toro. Mulches better, drives better, bags better in my opinion.

Honda. Had Toros in the past. Honda gives a better cut with the double blades.

I have the Honda HRX which is a good mower but it doesn’t mulch near as good as the Snapper Ninja it replaced.

Bought a Honda Quadracut 6-7 years ago, it's great. Honda offers similar models today.
