I need to install a new faucet in my kitchen but the connections from the faucet (3/8" FNPT) do not match up with the connections on these Accor push/pull shut off valves. These valves are original to the house and they are not in great shape so I should replace them. The problem is I don't have a lot of clearance between these valves and the back wall on this T piece so they will be difficult to get off. Once I manage that, can I use Sharkbite shut off valves and simply place them on this same tube? I've never seen a connection like they used here with this plastic tubing with knobs? I assume the Sharkbite will connect to this without issue?

I have two other valves at the bottom being the hot water supply. One leads to the faucet where the other leads to the dishwasher. This means that I will have to change one of these too to accommodate the connection from the faucet. My concern here is I don't have any spare pipe coming out of the wall for the new valve to hold on to. Do I roll the dice and hope the removal of the Accor valve doesn't damage the stub coming out of the wall to a point where it's damaged and creates a leak?

dont know that much about plumbing to answer your question, but I would not use sharkbite fittings for anything that I permanently want to be installed because they will leak eventually. Now under a sink isnt behind a wall, but do you want to be redoing this in a couple of years.

Those Accor stops will twist off. Pull on them while turning counterclockwise. That will give you the same amount of pex to work with for your new stops. I’d recommend using regular compression stops. You would take out the 5/8 brass ferrule and use a 5/8 poly ferrule.

Yes, but I have never been a fan of shark bite fittings. It is essentially the same way those Accor valves are connected to the Pex. It is simply a push to connect type fitting.

The grey tubing you are referring to is Pex. More over it is Pex Type A considering the expansion connectors they used to connect the Pex to the tee fitting. I am assuming those expansion connectors at the tee fitting is what you are calling the "knobs".
The valves them selves are their push to connect style. In other words, like I said, the valves are pretty much connect to the Pex like a shark bite fitting does.

If you are set on changing them, then yes, it is about the only thing you can do.

ETA
If it were me:
I would change them only if they were leaking or if my new faucet required me to change them. I would remove them, and install some regular pex crimp on valves. No worry about damanged pex and (IMO) janky push to connect fittings leaking.

Thank you very much. The new faucet won’t connect to the hoses that are attached to the Accor valves. I tried to install a 1/2” male x 3/8” male connector to make it work, but I can’t get a good seal on the female connection coming from the Accor valve to the male connector. There is a leak on the backside of the connection (on the Accor side of the connection).
