I keep up with LSU ag and usually try to get things off of their lists. Any suggestions or good experience with plants that would do well from here to fall?
So far it looks like I'll be going after beacon impatiens, coleus, maybe one of the newer types of sunflowers.
thanks,

One of the owners of Louisiana Nursery (BR) has been raving about Crossandra and Blue Daze as summer to fall annuals (a specific newer cultivar of blue daze and I forget it’s name at the moment). I plan to give them a try.

I’ve been using these for a few years now. Super easy to propagate! I just fill the bed with them.
Then, I clear them back and drop snap dragons in the fall to have spring flowers
