We need to replace our back door. We are looking for a FRP door with full lite. Any recommendations for a grade above a Home Depot or Lowe's door purchase?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Good luck. I tried Holmes (pissed me off beyond belief), 84 lumber(never called back with quote), some wood door custom builder in BR. Gave up and order fiberglass Jeldwen from Lowes. Still waiting for it to come in though.

Go with fiberglass. I had one in my previous home and all future doors I replace will be fiberglass.

Yep, fiberglass is the way to go.

Check with a local lumberyard.

We have a triple unit with 1 steel door with two full pane windows that were installed 14 years ago. No complaints. It’s well protected from the weather though.

A custom cabinet or mill shop can order what you need but for an exterior back door you are just as well served by a HD or Lowes FRP door. The quality of the installation matters FAR more than door brand. I've set and reset a lot of exterior doors this year and it's amazing what some contractors will do to throw in a door quickly then walk away.

Pre-hung door preferred - no side lights

Do not use Window World. We had a terrible experience with them. Good with windows, awful with doors.

Try Lafayette Woodworks. Got them to replace my back door and a door for my shop in 2012, and they're still in great shape. Believe they are located in Lafayette, but they delivered to my house in BR.
