Mosquito elimination suggestions for the back yard
Posted by Sampson on 3/29/21 at 9:07 pm00
When I was in high school my dad would put out tiki torches and he had one of those oxygen producing trap things. Anybody have any sure fire reccs for taking these bastards out in high volume force?

According to their map on the website it looks like I’ve missed my “deployment time” of late feb/early March?
Good you didn't waste your money. The Spartan crap is a scam. It's just water and some yeast and sugar in a plastic tube and yes I fell for the marketing a few years ago. Anybody that thinks that really has an effect on mosquitos needs to reevaluate.
A fogger is a good solution as are the Sprays you attach to a hose. Don't forget to do your best to eliminate all standing water on your property.

$300-700. Depending on how nice of a unit you want to buy. The $700 stihl one is quality compared, but it’s all about where you want to start and willing to lose if the cheap ones crap out on you.
If you have time you could always charge some neighbors over the summer and make some money back.
We have a neighborhood one we all pitched in on and use as needed. Everyone buys their own chemicals
