But they came back. I keep finding tunnels in the grass where I assume there are moles. I treat the yard for grubs every year. I spray bifen as well. But the little shits kee coming. I tried smoking them out and that didn’t work. Then I bought a trap that impales the little shits but so far I’ve been unsuccessful.

One question I have is I don’t see any mounds anywhere. Is that common? I’m getting worried about the lawn cause every time it rains it turns into a sponge where their activity is.

I don’t want to do the bait cause I have a dog and a cat. Do those sonic things work?

My dog is worthless. She digs holes every now and then but she’s never found a mole. Fat arse cat is even more worthless.

Do you have neighbors close by? I've always found killing grubs in combo with traps works well for me, but if my neighbor isn't getting rid of grubs and trapping as well then they aren't gone for long

If you have dogs and cats that don't do anything, and you can't use bait or those pincer traps (for your animals to accidentally spring), may have to sit on your patio overlooking your yard with an ice chest of beer and a shovel and watch for movement.

At my previous house I had the best success rate with these: Victor Trap

Took me a week or two of guessing their main runs.

Yeah......one of my neighbors has a lawn company that sprays The other does not. His yard is wrecked and mostly dead up to where ours touch.

If no bait or traps do this...best thing anyway...

Put out lawn bug killer granules...the main point is to kill the food source for the moles which is grubs....

Put it out in a spreader and cover entire yard then throw some in the shrubs landscaping etc...

Do not tell or let your neighbors see you go this...you want their yards full of grubs so the moles move along....

Growing up we had an outside cat and never had moles. Once the cat died, we had moles. I’d get an outside cat.

Get a cat that kills the moles. I have 2 that bring in at least 1 every few days

It helps to get some bamboo skewers and put colored tape on the to make about a dozen little flags, then go around and stick them into tunnels in different areas to check which are active and not. Put the traps or whatever else in active tunnels but also keep an eye on the inactive ones.
