Not a native to the South so I'm not sure how to approach this. Want to completely remove everything that is in this picture and make sure it never comes back. What is the most effective way of doing this?

Also if anyone knows the species of these two plants so I can look them up that would be cool.

Pretty sure the one on the left is a banana. The one on the right, I have in my yard but have no clue what it is called.
Neither are palms.

Looks like bird of paradise, bananas, and split leaf philodendron. Get a shovel and start digging

both are non-woody tropicals. they are shallow rooted and easy to remove

banana on the left and split leaf philodendron on the right.

It's going to take some serious digging to remove everything. Both are tubers and will come back until the roots are gone.

Rent a mini excavator and dig those suckers out

White bird of paradise on left. See the white bird flower. Looks like just a new/young shoot from the bird that looks banana-esque.
Philodendron selloum on the right.
Cut and stump grind or backhoe depending on what you want to put in their place.
