Is there a more annoying bird than a robin

motherfickers start making noise at 4AM and never shut up. How do you get rid of these pests?

First step is to cook some rice, and start some onions on a low heat.

These guys sing at night.

I'll take a bird song over goose shite though.

Let's see:

Crows
Pigeons
Mockingbirds
Doves

That's just a start.

You can almost walk up to a robin and stick a BB gun in its belly.

Trust me, my dad beat me many times for this.

Call me crazy but I LOVE hearing most birds. It is like a natural mood enhancement for me.

I relocated two tree frogs from my fountain last night. They've been keeping me up 4 a.m.

I think they were both females. I left the male for another night. He shut up after not hearing back from the girls.

I can assume you've never had them build nests all around your house. Every flat surface that is elevated, and no matter how narrow, I have had doves build nests.

Most of the time they hang their arse off the side and crap on my porch decks, when building the nests there's straw, twigs, paper debris all over the place. Then once the nest is built they lay eggs and many times the eggs fall down from the nest on their own.

If the eggs stay there long enough to hatch, the little ones will fill it with shite as they grow. Then about half of the fledglings don't make it out the nest and live for very long since once they leave they can't get back to it because they aren't strong enough to fly up that high.

I've got 2 porches on my house and finally got them to stop building nests by putting a stuffed animal on every flat surface they once used.

I've got a couple outside my house for the past few days with all the rain we've been getting here in N.O.

For such a small critter, they sure can raise the decibel level when it is stone quiet in the neighborhood.

Interesting. Around these parts, they do not get anywhere near a house.

Gonna have to agree with you here.

Never heard a Robin sing at night.

Mockingbirds, on the other hand, will sing all damn night if there is a street light around. Those birds drive me nuts.

My grandad got me to hating sparrows. They would try to take over his Martin house so he sat across the yard with a slingshot ready to go.

Grandad was a dead eye with the slingshot.
