Installing wash tub in garage

How difficult would it be to put a wash tub in my garage if there isn’t already water or a drain in the garage?
Any idea what that would cost?

Does your garage have finished or unfinished walls?
Either way, easiest thing to do would be intersect the nearest water line (probably leading to a hose bib on the opposite side of your garage wall) and tie it in to the sink.
Could just drill a hole thru the outside wall 1/8 bigger than the drain you pipe. Run the drain directly outside dumping into your yard.
If you want to actually tie the drain into your sewer, then you will have to find a vent nearby to tie in to. Going to have to open a wall to do that.

Does the area you’re interested in share a wall with a bathroom, kitchen, or laundry room? If so it might be a simple tie into those fixtures. If not, it could get expensive.

No it doesn’t share a wall with a drain anywhere.
I really didn’t want to go the external drain into the yard route.
Sounds like I’m looking at something expensive to tie into the main drainage and add a vent

Is your house on a slab, or pier & beam?

That’s what I did. I just found the hose bib and tied into the cold water
I don’t have hot water in my shop, I just drain to the pond with a 1.5” PVC I buried

They have sinks with sump pumps built in them now.
You can pump to wherever you need - not ideal for every day, but should work for a shop

Don't do this under any circumstance

It depends on how close the water drain runs to the garage, that would be the largest cost. You could have a drain in an adjacent wall or it could run under the slab on the way to the offsite sewage. You need to do some more investigating
