They nice ones aren’t cheap but if you do try to go the cheap route it seems like they fall apart in 2 years.
We got one that is pretty nice but definitely not cheap. It has a ladder, rockwall that goes up to a landing, slide, two swings, and a monkey bar/trapeze bar.
I think it was $1700-$1800 inclusive of install.

Kids stop playing on them after 2 years anyway, so they don’t need to last much longer than that.

Bought a house this summer that had a pretty good sized one in the front yard.
Was never really discussed during the buying process. I was relieved beyond words when I drove over after closing and the monster was gone.
You could tell it had been in “the kids quit playing on it” mode for a while.

Costco. Got this one for $999.
Might be worth a membership just for a play set. Looks like they’re not in stock though at the moment.
But yeah. Still gonna want to cough up more to install it. Unless you have a crew and a free weekend.

I second the Rainbow playsets.
I picked up an $8500 King Kong Castle for $850 off FB Marketplace. The people were moving. I paid a guy $400 to relocate it. Our whole family enjoys it.

Ditto. Wife found a cheap one at Academy for about 350. My kid will use it for a little while then get bored. Once she's a little older, I'll just build a nicer/bigger one.

Went this route as well. We have a decent playground in near walking distance for when my kids grow out of the one I got in a few years.

My neighbor just got one from the company on seigen that builds them on site. I about fell over when I looked them up online. He probably paid in that 7-10k range
