$12 - 15K-ish

ETA: Oops, I didn’t read carefully. Missed the part about cabinets, so more than that.

Paint and patch walls, ceilings, cabinets and trim. - 10k materials and labor.

Kitchen appliances 5k - 50k depending on what you buy

Backsplash probably $250 labor. $1.20-$60 sq ft materials.

As you can see, you control the cost on the job by your choices

Just appliances (refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher), your range is probably $2000 for low end/ mobile home level to $5000 for some "top" end mainstream (GE profile, for example)

Pick out Viking or SubZero , you can double that top end.

Thing is with home building or remodeling, there are so many price levels for everything.
Heck, you can go from $10 to $60 just for HVAC registers

Here’s a used 36” subzero I found for $7500. I found a used 48” subzero for 14k that looked nice as well. A wolf cooktop new is 10k.

You can do a mid level JennAir package around 8k, Viking 10k, Wolf 20k, and that’s these companies bottom tier products.

Top end viking package is over 30k

Edit - AJ Madison has great deals on appliances right now. Not to be confused with Ashley

Are these products able to be repaired unlike a 3k refrigerator these days?

Some good info. Thanks guys.

Was wanting to do it all for around $20,000. I guess the main thing will be finding a good painter that doesn’t charge $12k-$15k for what we need.

For the baseboards and crown and cabinets, are you getting them repainted or taking them from stained to painted?

What you’re asking for is a shite TON of painting. Doing all of that yourself would take months. A good paint crew will have it done in 2-3 weeks.

I did this same project last year. Prepping walls, prime, ceilings, trim, touch ups, etc... only weekends and occasional nights. It took a good two months. One room was covering up pink, so that had its own issue, but not a bulk of time. I also had no help.

The minute you put a 3k fridge in your house it’s worth 1500. 2 years later it’s worth $500. My advice is either buy a really nice built in or the best $1200 refrigerator you can find. The shite in the Middle is where people get burnt the most in my experience with fridges.

Don’t skimp on a painter, man. I just paid like $3/sq ft for a painter and they did awful. A really good painter will run you $6+

That’s a range of $7,000-$15,000.

I’m hoping to find someone in the $8,000-$10,000

I’d look for someone on the higher end of the range.
