Hot Tub advice and questions requested

Priced hot tubs recently and looking for advice.
1. Are brands like Hot Springs and Jacuzzi worth the price differences over brands you can purchase from Costco and Home Depot or any other big box store?
2. We’re thinking about going open seating for fitting more people comfortably, is a having a lounge seat worth losing an extra seat and tighter seating?
3. Are there anythings I should pay close attention to when deciding on which one to get?

Jet pressure. I wanted pressure that tries to pull skin off my back. I have an inground fiberglass and the pressure was garbage. Was able to add additional motor to get desired pressure but it was extra $1000 for the motor and install.

1. Yes. Also, costo isn't coming out to do warranty repair work if needed. Use a dealer and a quality brand.
2. Yes. Chances are, you'll have 2 or less people in it far more often than a group. You'll get more use out of the lounge seat.
3. Like the above said, the air motor is critical, as is the heating element. Also, consider a quality cover.
