Heat pump outside unit iced over

I assume there must be an issue with the defrost cycle. Relays?
Possibly Freon level, but I think it's been heating "normally" until now. Not certain, though.

Defrost control board.
I'm not saying thats your actual solution, because I reckon it could be relays or refrigerant....
But that was asbolutely my solution when I had the same problem.

I'm guessing about $100 or so for another board?

Its been about 5 years, but i ordered mine online and replaced myself....i think it was about $50
