Looking for suggestions to get rid of them.

I've never had a problem with using Windex and newspaper to remove them after washing a car in the summer. I don't use paper towels since they tend to leave a bit of lint behind.

Try to compound them with a RO buffer

Yes, Bio-Clean is the right answer.

Mr Clean Magic Erasers is my stock answer. They work on most anything. Amazing product.

Barkeepers friend. This is the best thing we have found for hard water stains on our shower glass.

Im curious about this too. Ive tried a lot.... I wouldn't use steel wool, I used 0000 grit and it still scratched my windows. I have had mild success with Bar Keepers Friend.

Auto Magic water spot remover is hands down the fastest and best for auto glass. Wear gloves and have good ventilation because it has hydroflouric acid in it....that’s not something to fool around with.

Have you tried a steam cleaner?
I bought the one from harbor freight, and other than a couple of the brush attachments not having the steam "hole" bored out all the way when they were poured (which took 2 seconds to fix with a pocket knife to finish punching them out) the thing has been flawless.
It came with a window squeegee attachment that I have used for removal of hard water stains on glass, and along with a terry cloth towel to wipe up, it has worked flawlessly.
I find uses for that steam cleaner every time I get it out for some other task, and so it's not a "one trick pony" either-especially for auto cleaning.

Another vote for Bar Keepers Friend. I wash our 5 cars weekly and use it on all windsheilds as a pre-wash.
