I have lots of trees . Leaves take over gutters.

I have the ones in the pic. Pine needles stick in like crazy. I have to get on the roof and pick them out one by one. It would be easier to not have them and just clean the gutters the old way.
I’m looking to remove and replace them with something different- if anything

Thanks for info. So I def won’t get that style. Purpose is not to drag my old arse up the latter every year.

Problems?
Leaves get stuck in them. And are then harder to clean out than just cleaning out an unguarded gutter.
We've got something similar to this:
And have had no problems.

I don't know if you need new gutters or what... but they make a seamless all in one sort of thing... and they make a sort of "cap" that installs over existing gutters. We have the cap style. Like I said.. no problems.... well, except a section right about the kitchen has two dents that are identically equally spaced as the ladder where the dumbass homeowner (that'd be me) put the ladder up there to change a vent boot.

none of them work worth a damn get the biggest widest gutter possible and then add them and its just ok big rain water will still shoot off the roof. facia board drip edges and gutter work is the simplest things to get right and contractors never do.

I did too about 3 years ago. Best decision i've ever made about my house.
In the 3 years they've been up, only once have i had to clean out a down spout, and that was b/c i did a crappy job on a corner near that downspout, which i fixed, and haven't had to clean the gutters since.

I have ones like these on my back yard gutters:
The addition of the mesh screen makes it better than the basic "grid", which can catch leaves and pine needles.
Mine is under a live oak. It's great for the leaves. Only issue is after the catkins (what some mistakenly call "pollen") falls from the trees, it builds up and won't wash off naturally from the rain, especially once it gets wet and clumpy. But it is easily blasted off with a hose every year, much easier than if it was a grid alone, and much better than if there were no gutter guard at all:
Lowes has them for a little over $2.00 each-- each section is 3 feet long.

I am looking to put some on my gutters as well. I don't have any pine needles and all of the leaves I have issues with are from oak trees or similar leaves so I feel like the steel mesh will do great. Is there a specific brand or link y'all went with?

Are they easy to remove if you need to clean the gutters?

I have these same guards from Lowe’s/HD on my gutters going on 3 years without an issue - put I don’t have pine needles to contend with so can’t comment on that. Easy DYI, and if they don’t work, one is not out much $. I decided to try them after reading an article in Consumers Reports that recommended them over other gutter guard products. I’m able to check them every Dec when putting up Xmas lights and I’m surprised how well they are holding up given how cheap they are.
YouTube videos on how to install them.

Speaking for myself, they are easy to remove as I had to replace a couple when a tree branch fell and buggered up a couple and I needed to replace them. But I haven’t had to clean the gutters since installing them. They do do overlap each other which makes replacing one in the middle of row little tricky but not too bad.
