I have tried everything trying to get rid of the SOBs short of dynamite. I have tried flooding them, poison, traps, and no matter what they continue to come back.

What is the best grub control to put down (pellets or spray) that will help get rid of the moles?

I have a grub problem that almost killed my whole lawn last year.
I understand that grub control should be put out in May.
Waiting to see the experts weigh in...

Arena or Merit is what you want to use for grubs. If you are in Louisiana then you most likely have voles and not moles. Voles aren't eating grubs, they are eating your grass/plants. Scissor traps work well against them.

The question about when to put down grub control depends on soil temperature.

Steps to killing volemoles:
1) bright head light
2) shovel
3) large cup coffee
4) case of beer
Hang out in your yard one night drinking beer until you start to see the ground wiggle. Keep and eye on it slowly rising lowering as the little shite digs and then BAM stab the shovel down and chop that f*cker in half. You get drunk outside and take care of business. Win win.

Get a Blue Heeler. My Heeler puppy is hell on a moles and has wiped out the mole population in my yard. If only I could train her to fill the holes back in after she gets done.

This almost makes me almost wish I still had some moles in my yard.

Stuff called Milkyspore. Must be applied twice in a 6 month period.
Look it up. Expensive stuff but works.
Check out your local co-op.

I'm confused. Are you trying to control grubs or moles? For moles, use Talpirid. Grubs, not sure.
