Frigidaire ice maker issue

The ice dispenser only puts out crushed ice even when the setting is on "cube".
Any ideas from the experts? Thanks

They'll change ice maker and control panel, and it will probably do it again. Welcome to Frigidaire. Know of 3 people who have or had same issue

There is a switch/plunger/lever on the back wall that can get stuck due to ice build-up. Check that first before replacing any electronics.

remove ice maker, see square thingy in hole in the back wall and pull it down, it takes a little effort to do it. that resets the ice back to cubes
if you buy the replacement solenoid then DO NOT REPLACE THE WIRING HARNESS AS INSTRUCTED, the harness is wired wrong and will short out the LED lighting system. i know because i did it
