I’m heading to Doug Young in the morning. Which other nurseries In Forest Hill are open to the public or homeowners? Thanks in advance.

Sam Stokes Nursery on Hwy 112 very close to I-49, exit 66 as I recall, and the Nursery right across the street from Sam Stokes, Pooles Brothers Nursery.

Hollaway-Young nursery few miles down Hwy 165 from DYN. They’ll have some plant material out front but you can’t drive around like at DYN. Bobby Young Nursery, part of the DYN, near the intersection of Hwy 165 and Hwy 112 - they have the 15 and 30 gallon trees and shrubs.

There are others but these are ones I’m familiar with. So I’ll bookmark this thread to get the names of those others that other may be familiar with.for future reference

I should be up in that area tomorrow turkey hunting but can’t make opening weekend.

Most have signs out front that say open to public or wholesale only.

Wayne’s Nursery.

Ask for Marvin.
Best selection and dirt cheap.
They have all the big boys do but is more of a mom and pop feel. I go see him once a year. Got 4 huge Savannah Hollies and a big Vixtex last year.

You'll be sorry if you bring your wife . Better bring a big truck . Already been twice and went over budget twice . Great prices .
