For those of you that shave, how do prevent your sink/bathtub from clogging?

A plunger every now and again can help. I wet shave so I have a lot of soap/cream enter the sink each morning. If the plunger can't do it. Then I remove the trap and clean it. A year later rinse and repeat.

Drinking and typing is not my friedn

i clean the snake drain every once in a while... i cut my own hair, so it tends to clog up quicker than it probably should, but yeah... that, and try to wipe up a majority of the hair and throw it away or flush it, rather than rinse it down the sink...

Never had this problem. If you have that much hair maybe don't try to dump it down the sink.

Liquid plumber is really bad for pipes. Very caustic and may weaken pipes under the slab... bad news. If you rent, frick it.

I use an electric razor and clean things up with a regular razor. It's pretty simple, actually. Never had a problem.

I use a stainless bowl full of water to rinse my razor and then I flush the water in the bowl down the toilet.

Small waste basket in the sink to catch 95% of the hair.
Wipe up the rest with a damp cloth.
No clogs.
Profit.

Keep a gallon of cheap chlorine bleach around. Once a week, before you go to bed, flush the drain with hot water from the tap for a while, then pour enough bleach in it to fill the pea trap. Leave over night. When you wake up, repeat the hot water flush.
