I have an old Amana dishwasher that doesn’t get hot enough to dry dishes. Every cycle is completely soaked upon completion.

I understand that there are some limitations with the unit because I’m running a tankless water heater from across the house and it’s set at 120 degrees.

I don’t understand though why there is absolutely zero heating for drying the dishes.

I replaced the heating element and it gets barely warm during the cycle when I’ve checked.

Any tips?

*Landlord won’t fix it and I’m not going to replace it. But if I can do something on my own to fix it, I will.

This. I have a newer dishwasher and I've never messed with it, but my wife will use Jett Dry if she needs them dry and it works.

I used to laugh when I saw commercials for this stuff. I used it once and it is well worth it. My new dishwasher doesn't even have a heated dry cycle...It rinses in hot water then pops the door about 3 inches and air drys. The Jett Dry made a difference in both types of dishwashers.
