Want to get the parents in law a nice fire pit for Christmas. Something free standing. Any recommendations on local (Ascension/BR) places to look aside from Lowe's/HD?

Creative Cajun Cutting has made a few things for my family. They’re on FB. Can make almost anything you want. Not sure what you want to spend but these are custom cut with high pressure water. This is not mass manufactured

Check out BBQGuys. I recently bought a stainless steel drop in pan for a fire pit from them

They are national online outfit that is based in Baton Rouge and have a local showroom

Idk why there were 5 DV for the initial Solo Stove post, but as others said, I really enjoy mine. If loaded right and with seasoned wood, the flame is really nice and smoke free. Super warm and very mobile as well

Those solo stoves look nice and I may get one once I move into my new house. If people have some negative things to say about them I would love to hear it before I spend my money.

just got a solo stove from Costco online. $50 cheaper than the website, but they only have the medium sized one.

I’ve been having a solostove for about 3 years and love it. As long as the wood you start out with is seasoned, it’s virtually smokeless. Once it gets going, it puts off a ton of heat.
