Fair price for interior painting job

Roughly 2100Sq for home. The office is fine. Need 3 bedrooms (including master), 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchen... not the trim, not the ceiling. Just the walls. I have to buy the paint. Whats a fair price for that job for someone decent? In your opinion

Had about that same square footage done for $2500 last year in BR area.

Agree with $2500....Was going to say it's about $1 per square foot

For reference, if it even helps, we had a 2200sq. ft. painted that included all rooms but one bedroom, trim, some ceilings, and stairs and it was around $3.20/ sq. ft. So knocking off some of those things should put you in the $1-$2/sq. ft. range.
