Has anyone here used companies like Ninja to cover the cement on an outside patio? I have had two sales people come over and give me different information on wear/tear and warrranty. And a competitor tell me it is NOT designed for outdoor applications. Searching for information online only consist of advertisements basically.

Anyone had this stuff for 5 years or more? If so, how is it wearing?

I only have it indoors where clear epoxy covers stained concrete. I couldn't see using this outside, no firsthand experience though with outdoor.

The thrown chips in epoxy for garages, maybe.

Listen to this guy.

If you put this stuff on an exposed patio you will regret it. No way it will stand up to direct sunlight and heat.

It is fine for outdoors. The only issue is that you don't want an epoxy top/clear coat(it will yellow). What you want is polyurea or polyasparctics. Don't use brightly colored flakes, either.

A thread about a month ago said do not use one from Lowe’s or hd, but order online. You could do a search for the thread as I don’t remember the brand.

This is actually incorrect. Ninja concrete does not use epoxies at all.
Their product is a polyaspartic/polyurea which is UV staple. They warrant against fading if I’m not mistaken. They have done the patio and garage at one home and patio and pool at another home in my neighborhood.
I am looking into doing my patio and garage with them.

Not quoting Ninja, but $6-8 per sq ft is a good ballpark for professionally prepped/installed.

$6-8 depending on necessary repairs needed according to my guy. They mend cracks and pits first and apply moisture stop if a moisture issue is apparent.

Well two things. The warranty is for 15 years. What happens in year 16? I had one installer tell me they could fix the cracks During install. Another installer wanted a secondary company to fix the cracks before he would do anything.

The representative from ninja insisted that they be the one to fix the cracking and pitting. He went as far as to say that he wouldn’t accept the job or warrant it unless he could do all prep work.

See that is the problem. I am getting conflicting information and do not know what to believe.

Call B&H Distributors if you’re in BR. They sell a variety of industrial coatings which will more than exceed your requirements.
