I’ve decided that I want to get one, I’m done with gas and carburetors. Looking at the Karcher, is that the best, any one with experience? What about green works? Definitely going to get the 2000 psi model. This is strictly for small stuff around the house, cars, small driveway etc

Saw a buddy using one at his house one time. Grant it wasn’t sure the size or name brand but I wasn’t impressed aside from it being quiet. I would get one higher than 2000psi though.

I tried the Ryobi 1900 psi versions and it was garbage compared to gas model. might be nice for a car wash but thats about it

I've used both. You dont want to do any sized driveway with an electric.
They are great for siding, cleaning off the porch, car washes, etc.
But if you are gonna be doing any amount if concrete bigger that 10x10 you will want gas.
It's not so much the PSI as it is the GPM that's the difference. The electric has enough PSI, but its gonna take you FOREVER.

Agreed. I've got an electric and hate it. Can't remember which one but all projects take forever. Looking to get a decent gas one.

I’ve got an electric and a gas pressure washer, hate the electric.Besides dragging the hose around, have to drag extension cord, plus it just doesn’t have the power.
If you’re having problems with gasoline and carburetor you must not be using fuel stabilizer.I use StaBil,there are other brands,I put it in gas can as soon as I get home from filling the can.

Get another gas one or fix the one you've got and keep fuel stabilizer in it.
Start it once every couple of months.

I have a friend with one of these at his boat house

It is very handy given the long length of hose and the easy of using it.

Electric sucks on entry level washers. Go Honda gas motor washer and treat fuel correctly.

I had a gas one and it took like a month to pressure wash the driveway

I’ll go ahead and break the trend. I have a 2700psi gas washer, and just bought a Ryobi 2000psi electric from Home Depot. The electric obviously is a little weaker than the gas one, but I’m still happy with it. I’ll probably still use the gas to do the driveway, but the electric would still be capable. So far I’ve been using the electric over the gas for pretty much everything. It’s nice and quiet.

I've got an electric Ryobi and it works, but it takes forever to pressure wash a driveway even with the dome attachment.

There are two types of electric ones, the self contained junk and belt driven.
I would buy belt drive as they last forever but they are a bit pricey.

I've got a sun Joe electric, and a Toro gas. I use the electric almost exclusively. It is plenty of power for washing cars, doing sidewalks, driveway. I did my driveway last year. Took half a day. I bought one of the discs that attach to it to cover more surface area.

I second the Sun Joe. Had it for about 2 years and have put at least 15 full days of work on it. From washing cars with 45°, deck with 25°, to concrete with 15°. No carbonators to fight and my non ethanol gas can be used for lawn equipment and boat gas. One less motor to deal with.
3000psi Sun Joe Electric from Amazon.

My FIL has had the ryoi 2000 psi electric pressure washer for like 6 years and has had zero issues with it. It even survived the flood in 2016 by some miracle after being under 7 feet of muddy Amite River water. He dissected it, cleaned it, and put it back together. Matter of fact, i borrowed it like 2 months ago to pressure wash my house and driveway.
