Thanks. Good Advice. Fortunately this is not a rush job, more of a “want” than a critical need, and I have time to look at and consider all options.

Bad ground with sinkholes = bad sub grade, which = bad concrete. 100 times out of 100.

One additional question. I just had a section of driveway demo'd and poured a couple of weeks ago but I have one spot that was done "wrong" for lack of a better word. The gravel was close to the surface in this one small spot and now it's washing away, leaving a small but growing indention that will eventually be a pothole.
How in the world is this repaired?

And yes, the concrete guy is coming out to repair it. Just wondering how and how it'll look.

They likely need to cut a large section out, dig it out to get the proper depth, then re pour.
Don't let them go cheap and just do like a 4ft by 4ft area. Make them cut it back to where it would be naturally. They half assed it originally instead of spending an extra 15-30 minutes digging it out and prepping it right, they need to do it right.

Thanks. He told me the concrete truck didn't bring enough for the job as he ordered, so they had to make a second trip with more concrete. The last section poured while the first section already dried. Messed up a good bit by the road.
