LG makes a fantastic washer/dryer that are super efficient and clean clothes better than any Maytag, Kenmore, etc my family has ever owned. Plus, it connects to WiFi to alert when the loads are done so we're free to do other things.

KitchenAid and Frigidaire are the best bets for refrigerators. We have counter-depth KitchenAid.

Just built a new house and went all Kitchen Aid except the ice box. I went Whirlpool. Love all the appliances. Only drawback is the ice holder is a little small IMO. No big issue. Love it.

Yes, although ice makers in the door tend to give more problems, at least with my KA —- service guy said so

Yup! Mother frickin this.

I have a KitchenAid fridge that is great except for the damn ice maker. I wish I’d have listened to reviews.

We had a wire break to the little heater in the ice maker that keeps the water tube from freezing. It has now broken twice and the wire is so short that there is no way to service it. Fridge is a couple months out of warranty, but KitchenAid is covering the repair ‘as a one time courtesy.’

By the way, that phrasing pissed me off. KitchenAid, your shite is breaking through no fault of mine - how about you stand behind your product and fix the issue?

The repair? Oh. Replace the whole damn door. That would have cost me around $1,100.

Maytag makes great refrigerators - best imo. Maytag, Whirlpool, and Kitchenaid are all the same company now

I’m cheap. Are there any stores that sell brand new scratch and dent fridges?

I’m surprised every one has had such good luck. I have KA fridge, microwave, oven, and dishwasher. I have replaced 1-3 parts on each item.

I wound up getting a simple whirlpool bottom freezer stainless. Don't need all the fancy doohickeys. Just chill and freeze and last a few years.

Had the same for 4 years now and it's quite and reliable.

If I need a fridge, I'm definitely going to check out KA's.

Total Kitchenaid in our previous and current house and nary a problem with any of it.

I've got a LG washer and dryer, 5 years old, not a hiccup. Choose LG on advice of appliance repairman. 1 year old KA icebox, so far so good.
