Motor on mine blew up yesterday and my local dealer said he could put me on a list for a 42” or 48” but said I could be waiting until next year before one comes in. I have a trailer and willing to drive around south east LA.

I bought my last Gravely from Hutch's in Pville. One before that came from 4H Equipment in Denham. Both are great to deal with.

Would it be worth it to drop in a new or rebuilt motor?

Bought a ZT HD a couple of months ago from Southland Engine in Lafayette. They said the 48’s had been on order for months and they didn’t know when they’d be coming in. There was only a $100 price difference between the 48 and the 52 anyway. So I got the 52.

They had about 20 of them sitting outside this past weekend.

BMC in Westlake. You’ll get the cheapest price possible and if you’re close they have a phenomenal service team.

Southland in Lafayette has a bunch of the new stealth models in stock. I think they are the ZTX models but blacked out.

Neil’s small engine in Houma has some but looks like they are 52”ers

Or

You could get you a Bad Boy from Ranchland Tractor in Saucier MS. They have 48” ZT Elites in stock. Pay no tax if coming from LA.

This is who I talked to yesterday. 52 is just way too much mower for my yard. 48 is probably not necessary either but I’m not looking to wait until next year to get something either. They neighbors wouldn’t like my yard not getting cut until next year

You could check out FB Marketplace for used.

I bought a Proturn 48 with 100 hours for $3600 a couple of years back.

Hutch’s had them out today and u can see them stacked up behind the building as well. Will be ur best bet if that’s Brand ur sold on. They are good people over there as well, have got all my stihl equipment from them. I almost pulled trigger on one last year but ended up going with a Kubota instead

I got a 52 the other week from Michael Canal in Hammond. They had 4 or 5 more there. He said that's all they could get was the 52.
