DIY garage workshops. Let's see them.

CAD is ready to get in over his head again. New house garage barely fits 2 vehicles so I'm looking to do something like this (I would have to back one of the cars out).
I'm still wide open on ideas so I'd love to see what y'all recommend.

Eta here's my tiny arse garage. Ignore the junk. I'm having the floor coated next week and this is still crap from the move i haven't gone through yet.
Looking to do this in back far corner (second pic) since the small car is on that side and easy to move and get around.
My main concern is clearance at the top because of that ceiling rack. Bottom of the rack is 82" from the floor. I need something that will give me some room to work but still fit both cars when I'm not.

I had this set up for a while before I built my shop. Went and got a solid core door from Lowes and it worked great. The table had foldable legs and mounted to the wall with gate hinges so I could fold it down if needed.
Wife and I both have large vehicles so it was a tight fit in our garage but I could fit both plus the workbench in there if it was an emergency (storms, hail, etc.)

yes i'm not opposed to a fold down. i did one years ago at my old-old house (not my most recent house) and absolutely loved it but have long since lost the plans.
the one i posted is eurotrash metric measurments i'm not about to try & do the math to convert all that shite or embarrass myself walking into home depot asking for a Ø5 x44mm screw.
so back to the drawing board. looking for something similar without having to convert the damn diagram.
eta here is my old workbench. i loved it! i could jump up and down on the desk when it was extended. very strong. alas the plans have been lost to the sands of time

thank you!!! that may be the best route as i wont be compromising on space since its a fold down. the car will have to be moved either way.

When my truck didn't fit in the new house's garage, I eventually went all out and took over the bay. Dust collector, mitersaw cart, and drill press are out of the frame. This is actually an older picture. I've fit a 17" bandsaw and an 8" jointer in there as well. Just roll them into the other bay when in use. The outfeed table was originally a roll around workbench with a fold down table extension that tucked against the tool wall. But when I got the cabinet saw, I just made it permanent.
Probably not the motivation you are looking for if still parking cars there. But I highly suggest the French cleat tool wall. I can rearrange that thing in seconds and it holds a ton of weight.

yes i like that too. not trying to break the bank on this build. those 2 stairs cost me damn near $1,000 at the old house.
