Could be other birds also but I’ve only seen crows. Seems to be the same two but all crows look the same to me so it’s hard to say. They shite all over. And they shite in the water.

I don’t mind shooting them, but will that do the trick or will new crows take their place? Also, any hints on shooting them? I don’t want to have to sit outside all day waiting for them. They don’t hang around long. Just fly in, take a sip of pool water, and shite all over. Other suggestions?

Put a rat trap with corn on it,don’t set the trap at first. After they start eating it regularly, glue some corn to the trigger and set it. Hopefully the survivor won’t come back.
Another thing that might work is get an owl decoy and mount it on a pole by the pool, hang some black cloth from the bottom to mimic dead crow in his claws.

Shoot one and hang it where the others can see it (but out of sight of your neighbors who will likely throw a fit). Rinse and repeat if necessary.

If that doesn't work, put a birdbath as far away from the pool as possible.

You shooting these with an air rifle? I have some crows I'd like to get rid of but I'm in the city.. I can just imagine Latoya tazing me after popping a couple of them.

Yeah I have an old Benjamin pellet gun that’d do the trick.

Some good ideas here. My wife really likes the idea of a bird bath away from the pool.

frick yeah

This is a war between good and evil.

I’ve been after them for months now. They piss me off. It’s been fun, seeing as how hunting season doesn’t start for a while, and I like killing them. They caw so much, I go inside and still hear them in my head.

Just a heads up, they’ll be on to you, quick. I busted about 5 or 6 at first. Maybe over two weeks. Now, I walk out of the garage, aim, and they all scatter from the tops of the pine trees at once. I’ve been using a white garbage bag over the gun/sight with a hole for the scope/barrel in my kid’s swing set playhouse as a blind to get the drop on’em.

Kill them. Kill them all.

Go to YouTube and search crow calls. Find the loudest speaker you can find. Bose would work fine. Play in you backyard and they will be on top of you. Key is to kill the scout right away.

How do you get positive confirmation on the scout? We got a bunch of retard Rambo crows here that just fly off the handle doing their own thing. You can tell it pisses off the rest of them.

Now that I think back, those are probably the ones I popped early in the season.

These assholes argue with each other even when they all agree.

If you really get in a few crows and blast them good and leave a few others to live they won’t come back.

You can try to shoot them but they get smart quick.

I used to shoot them off the trash boxes when I was building houses as they would scatter food trash all over the neighborhood.

I could walk in and out of the job trailer all day and they wouldn’t move but As soon as I come out with the air rifle in hand they would fly off. They knew the sight of the air rifle. I had to stash it in different places so they couldn’t pattern me.

Same thing happened here. I’m busted. If I get out of the car in the driveway, they take off. If I pull into the garage, I can pump it a handful of times and sneak a hurried shot off. They usually split the second I walk out with it.
