well this bastard kicked my arse today. hopefully will have the roof up sometime this week but could only recruit one other guy to lift the beams in place.

LINK

unboxing and checking the inventory on this took most of yesterday

got the posts put together during the rain

called it a day when my drill battery died on step 12 of 25

for $1500 this seems like a great buy and should be really nice once i can get it all together

Looks nice. I’ve been contemplating adding a cover to my concrete patio in the backyard.

I would figure out a way to anchor it down if it didn't come with the hardware to do it. A really strong wind gust will flip that thing onto your fence.

Helped my dad put together one of those. I remember the roof being difficult.

It’s pretty solid and heavy. But I do think it’s designed to be anchored into concrete.

shittiest part of outdoor gazebos are the stupid canvas covers that get algae, mildew, sag from rain pooling in one spot making it sag more and more until in a fit of rage you destroy the gazebo and vow to never buy another.

you've solved that problem with this bad boy

i bet you'll be happy with this purchase for years to come.

anyone who has something similar can report back if it retains heat under the metal roof? i want to buy one of these but my wife is afraid it will stay too hot during the summer.

I helped my father in law put a full metal up about this size from costco maybe 8 year ago.

Again...full metal. Went about it in like June or July in the GA heat. You could hardly put your hands on the pieces.

Overall though no it doesnt retain too much heat. He does have a fan to blow a crossbreeze through. But honestly i spend most of my time in the pool over there so hard for me to be too accurate in that

I don't have this one, but I've looked at it.

With vents just mount a directional fan under it.

All metal is hot.

I've got a 40x40 metal cover that is 10ft hugh and even it is a little hot in summer.

That’s a really good looking gazebo, interested to get your thoughts on material quality after you finish the install.

best part is it i bought it at $1599. was in Costco last week and it was on sale for $1299. I went to customer service and after some convincing/ threatening to bring boxes back to return and rebuy they gave me a credit for the difference

I can’t believe they don’t require it to be anchored to footings. That thing is going to end up down the street one day during a good storm.

Been following this thread as I'm interested in the build process and your overall review of this Gazebo. How's it going CE Tiger? Were you able to get the roof on and everything finished up?

had some setbacks and haven t worked on it since monday the good news is that it withstood the strong storms that came through tuesday night and didn’t wind up in my neighbors yard

panel was a bit tough to get on with one person just because of all the aligning and making sure it’s flush

They will always give you credit on a product that goes on sale within 30 days of you buying it. But maybe you bought it more than 30 days ago.

I got a couple hundred bucks back last month on something I bought
