Chicken coop plans???
So the wife started raising chickens a few years ago and we bought 2 coops from tractor supply and. Joined them, I knew they would not last long but figured she would loose interest by the time they rotted....... I was wrong she loves the damn things and wants a bigger sturdier better coop to hold 20+ hens, I am looking for plans for a nice big coop to have built but not finding much, anybody have any help?

re: Chicken coop plans???
I built an A frame coop when I had chickens and it worked out well, one side of the gable hinged up to get at the nesting boxes.

I found the plans on the net somewhere

There's lots of plans on the net to be had and they are not hard to find. If you like one plan but it's made for fewer chickens, simply up the dimensions to suit your needs. It's not rocket science.

Look up Wichita Chicken Coops. Great plan.

Man there are thousands upon thousands of plans in the internet for free. What are you search for exactly that you can’t find much?

Use 1/2 inch hardware cloth in order to prevent snakes from entering. Also consider a full roof,or cover with wire. Otherwise lookout for owls, hawks, and other birds of prey having access to your coop from above.

re: Chicken coop plans???
For that many chickens I would look at a small metal carport. Fence the entire perimeter and build a roost/nesting boxes along one side.
20+ chickens is work and more eggs than I care to think about.
