Has anyone used a Wagner paint sprayer to paint kitchen cabinets/doors or furniture with chalk paint? I am looking for a good one that would work with chalk paint...and any tips.
TIA

Never messed with chalk paint but we have painted our wooden shutters and kitchen cabinets with General Finishes Milk paint.
The shutters were done 8 or ten years ago and kitchen was done in 2018. I used an HVLP sprayer on them and they both look amazing still.
The HVLP is extraordinarily easy to use. I already had an air compressor.
We did put a good top coat on both, also with the HVLP

Not familiar with the HVLP.
So you hook up an air compressor to it to paint?

I’ve painted furniture with a HVLP sprayer and chalk pain. You have to think it down a LOT but it will work. Play around with a scrap piece until you get it right

I painted my cabinets with black chalk paint at my old condo and just used the 3" foam rollers. It was magnetic paint so it was probably too heavy to go through a Wagner but they came out really nicely.

HVLP is High Volume Low Pressure and that helps keep down overspray by spraying the paint at a lower air pressure.
Some guns can be used with a standard compressor and some come as kits with built in compressors.
