Moved from Broadmoor to a smaller place. Just the two of us. Bill has shot up:
Water 9.99
Sewer 55.51 what's the deal???
Garbage 23.00

I thought sewer was tied to water usage.

Your sewer user fee is related to this.

We have about 3 or 4 more years of annual increases of about 3 or 4% to pay off bonds. Increases will continue after that just to keep up with maintenance.

They have a “minimum charge” for water and sewer. I have a small office that I use. Sink and toilet that gets flushed maybe twice daily. I travel as well so I am not even there five days a week. The bill is almost as much as my house.

I moved last year and had the same thing. Apparently it’s an estimate and after a few months they’ll take the actual and then credit you it back.
