I was looking at Bad Boy, but couldn't get lift gate service for one to my house.

I was also looking at the Spartan 54". I could get it with 23hp Kawasaki or 25hp Briggs and Stratton. Anybody have a preference of the 2 engines?

I’m a kawi guy all the way. Had my previous mower with the same motor and was 6 years old zero issues.

I have a badboy elite 48 not a bad Machine at all. If I had to do it again I would go with Ferris or gravely

Husqvarna Z254 under $3k.
Bought one of theses three years ago with the 26HP Kohler engine.(Briggs or Kawasaki also available but less HP), $2999.
Cut 4 acres, no issues what so ever.
as I'm sure you can tell by the downvotes, and posting history of this board, they will say Scag all they way. but for 5k you aint getting much scag. spec for spec they're are better mowers under 5k than the scag liberty z

Get a used commercial with low hours. Lots of times you can find good deals on them. Scag, Exmark, Toro, JD
