Bathroom remodel finished!

In brief: bad water damage forced us to gut entire room. New features: hue color changing light, Sonos one with Alexa, Infrared spa, colored changing auto defrosting led mirror (white shades), 2 fans, one with auto humidity level shutoff and behind-the-vanity outlet so all devices are plugged in and hidden from view including electric razor, wireless ear buds, Apple watch, iPhone and 2 sonicare toothbrushes. The hidden electronics alone is huge.
We designed it ourselves even though we didn't know what we're doing and hired a good handy man to do the work itself.
Wife changed her mind at the last minute and went with extra stone tile for the shower boxes over the white pebbles. She thought it might be harder to keep all the grout clean with the pebbles. You can't see it in these pics but the guy also made a beautiful table lamp from leftover floor stone.
*Little cad not included.

Looks great - congratulations.
Tell us more about that auto humidity bath vent fan - I need to replace three - old, cheap, noisy and largely ineffective.
Think your wife will allow you to smoke meat in the sauna during the off-season?
(Did a old fashioned wood burning sauna in Finland some years back - I smelled like a smoked ham for 3 days).

Looks good the floor isn’t my taste but to each their own.

nice but i liked the before tile much better
not a fan of the pebble wall, that just looks strange and out of place but its easy to remove and drywall over when you get bored with it.
i have to ask though, with all that work why not go with a 6ft whirlpool tub? you have the room for it and you had a full reno so i think you missed an opportunity there

Suana would be a nice to have at times... but why a tub in the master bath? I'd think resale value you come more from walk in shower and tub in place of the sauna.
But as stated... to each their own.

We have an enclosed backyard porch with wiring already run for a hot tub. Wed rather have one outside.
As for the floor that was a really interesting travertine stone with gray and gold veins running through it. It definitely looks better in person.
We are tired of the marble trend and wanted something that more closely matched the woods and hills outside.
I'm loving the sauna already. It gets to 151 very fast and we can just jump in the shower afterward without dripping sweat through the house.
The bamboo toliet paper holder came from Amazon.

Couple quick points on the tub:
1. It's actually a soaking tub. Hard to tell how deep it is from these pics but we didn't have room for a stand alone soaking tub so I bought one that we could add a shower to. It's nice and deep. Wife likes that she can soak in a hot tub after the sauna if she wants.
2. Wife also really wanted a curtain (I guess so she can swap it constantly) and I got a rod that didn't require me to drill into the tile in case we decide to put in glass later.
The auto humidity vent was like $75 on Amazon but you can also buy a humidity switch that will do the same thing with your existing vent. I wanted a quiet one as well so I bought a unit with the sensor built in. It shuts off automatically when the humidity reaches a level which you can set.
Finally regarding the pebble wall; we are going to have a bigger table there with a lamp and other stuff so it won't look so stark.

Good call. She was right. And the shower boxes look great.
Having recently done a bathroom, I know how much work this takes. Good job.

Costco is your friend. Golden Design is the brand and they are awesome to deal with. This was the 1-2 person model and it's $999 at Costco with lifetime warranty. 32x36 is the footprint I believe just remember that footprint is also a wall so make sure you have enough space to get around it.
I can't recommend Golden Design enough. They have an outlet store on eBay too where they sell their units for about the same as Costco when they put them on sale.
I forget the woman's name who answers the phone but she's always extremely pleasant and they even threw in a free back rest just because I was polite on the phone.
ETA the units ship almost put together already. You just have to slide a couple of walls down and snap the buckles in the back and connect the plug harnesses. This smaller unit works fine on a regular 15a outlet too.

Handyman cost?
I got 2 "real" quotes from construction companies.
First was $26k, second was $20 with allowances for materials included in the quote.
The guy we used came in at $9500 and only included lumber, drywall and concrete boards in that number and I did the demo before hiring him. We were responsible for purchasing the vanity, tub, fixtures, tile, grout, toliet, etc. So I need to add all that up to get a final cost.
And yes, like tboy said it was amazing just how much work was required to put it back together.

Put that shower liner inside the tub or you're going to have water damage again very soon

I'm jealous of that sauna. I've always wanted one.
