Are Eley hose reels worth the cost?

IMHO, yes, as well as their accessories hoses, fitting, spray nozzles. I have 1 Eley hose reel and will buy more to replace other lesser quality (plastic and metal) hose reels. The quality is excellent. Buy once, cry once.

Hose reel on wheels and quick connects at each spigot is the way to go

I wanted one for a long time, finally got it and it wasn’t a good as everyone made it out to be. Didn’t take it down and move it when we moved.

Yes, they are worth the cost and nice quality. However, they are not quite as great as the rave reviews you see. Everything else is just absolutely junk.

I want to get their hose fittings for my house. The shite ones from lowes and hd corrode and leak.

I have been happy with mine. I have had good luck with the accessories as well.

I converted half my hoses, fitting and reels to Eley 7 years ago. After being happy with them replaced the other half a year ago.
Everything is top notch and I like the fact you can order the hoses longer than most. I have a few citrus trees 120' to 150' from a hose bib that I need to water once or twice a year. With regular hoses I need to connect two together, with Eley I ordered the 175' hose with an extra wide reel, problem solved.
The only fitting I don't like is the Hose Shut Off Valve with the Swivel Fitting. It's heavy but the regular shut off valve is great.
Eley hose reels can be mounted to a wall, wood or brick, at any convenient height. I have mine at waist high so I don't have to bend over.
