My zoysia is still growing nice and still green. This week knocked it down a bit. I over seeded a few weeks ago but I think I lost a lot when we got 6 inches of rain one day. So I’m kind of in between. Might cut just so I don’t have to sit in the house all day.

Just did it.
Man it looks good even with the grass turning brown. And none of the neighbors have touched their yard so it stands out even more

Got my last one in yesterday since I hadn’t done it in 2-3 weeks. It hasn’t grown much but looks good now. I also wanted to do it to drain the remainder of the gas out for the winter.

I’ve loved switching to battery for trimmer/blower but just need to decide what to do with the batteries while they sit all winter. I guess drain them to 75% then give them a run and charge every once in a while.

I can see it happening sometime this week. It's mostly weed grasses that are still growing, but more slowly than just a few weeks ago.

Also, along fences, borders, sidewalks that need weedeating to neaten them up.

Usually from about now until early March I'll cut the grass about once every 3 weeks or so---mostly just to keep it one height.

I've never done anything with my batteries for my trimmer. I just leave them sitting in the charger and then in spring, start using them. Is that not what I'm supposed to do?

Did mine on Friday mostly for the leaves and it looks so much better. I still need to get out there and spray some Feature to see if I can green it up a little one last time.

Everything I am reading now is saying to drain it to just under a half charge then store it in a controlled environment and occasionally put it on the charger.

That’ll be pretty easy since I will still blow off the back patio every week or 2.

One more cut this week in Southwest Houston and I'm putting the yard equipment away until late April --- or at least until the homeowner's association sends a nasty letter. ;-)

Cut mine yesterday to clean the yard up a bit. Lots of downed twigs and leaves from the last few fronts that came through. Yard was ugly but now it's nice and clean. And brown.

Need to cut the leaves, but trying to hold out until most of them are off the trees. The grass looked great last weekend, but this week's hard freeze has it brown and ugly.

best thing I've purchased in quite some time. Pull it around the yard, back it up to my burn pile, pull the rope and it empties automatic then I'm off to get some more. I have huge pines and oaks all over my lawn and leaves and pine needles are a major PITA.
