Looking for something for a couple of planters. Not really known for my green thumb.

Impatiens and Pansies are a good choice this time of year as they tend to like cooler weather, are fast growing and flower heavily with many different color flowered varieties.
If the planter is big enough you can use them as edge plants around the perimeter and plant something that grows taller in the center, like the Crouton pictured above or maybe some snapdragons that have nice flowers and grow fairly tall.

The Supertunia Vista Bubblegum petunia is a Louisiana Superplant. LINK. Grows well in reasonably larger diameter containers, say 14 inches + diameter, and will flower continuously until the heat of late spring at which point they should be replaced. Though I’m not a fan of pink. there are some other colors. Keep watered and fertilize occasionally.
