We've had a ton of rain recently, and I've noticed a number of sugar ant colonies outside of the house moving in vertical columns along exterior walls and around the base of the porch. Today, I've found two places inside the house where sugar ants are wondering around (kitchen and bathroom). I placed ant bait around both locations, and the ants have absolutely covered the one in the bathroom. I'm looking for some advice to get this under control ASAP.

While I'm at it, I've got fire ants in the yard and wasps flying around the edge of the roofing tiles on the roof. I'm considering calling an exterminator to help me address the immediate issue at hand with the sugar ants, but looking for advice on getting the pest problem under control and sustaining it long-term.

Suspend will help with the sugar ants in the house.

ETA: bifenthrine will kill wasp

Best thing I’ve found for fire ants is top choice but it’s expensive.
