I have these three weeds growing in St. Augustine. Recommendations on control. I did put down a preemergent in early March.

The one with the yellow flowers growing:

The long leafy one:

The one with the little heads on it:

Bump for craw to see what he thinks. I’m 25% sure I know the first, 99 on the second and the third is no question. What’s the first one in your opinion.

Do you know what will control baby jump up? Also, is there anything that can be used on St. Aug to take care of crabgrass a/o dallisgrass?

You are probably not going to find mecardonia procumbens on a label. Not sure if Swamie has killed this weed/ground cover but maybe he can answer. MsM is cheaper so try that. Next Celsius. I doubt snapshot will work since that normally doesn’t touch ground cover. I honestly don’t have experience with this weed but the leaf looks waxy so a surfactant will be needed.

You can’t control crabgrass in st aug. Suppress it with Celsius. I’m very curious with Celsius/sedgehammer combo in st aug for crabgrass. I’m more interested in a full rate of Celsius, full rate of sedgehammer, and half rate of revolver but unless you’ve got money to burn I don’t suggest you do that.

On a brighter note apply barricade next February and again in March and you shouldn’t have a crabgrass issue.

I applied it once this past year, late Feb or early March if I remember correctly.

On another note, if I get MSM and Sedgehammer, can I mix them together in the sprayer or should I apply them separately?
