Almost done with complete house & siding repaint

We opted to paint over swapping for hardi-board after getting the estimate ($37k 
)
Its looking good; they still need to go back & scrape the windows and some touchup work. SO was mad that after we painted it white, every other house in the neighborhood went white as well so we went dark. The painter has gone through 25 gallons so far.
BEFORE
AFTER (yes i know leaves are everywhere. the wind has been out of control this week. concrete driveway cleaning and staining is next on the list)

Seems like white to very light is the color of choice both for interior and exterior paint these days.
I imagine this fad won't last long and a new color will be in soon.
Seems like the color just washes out and you can't see good details of what you have painted

i feel really sorry for that house across the street and down in the wooded valley. they have literally never seen a sunset from their house while we enjoy it every night.

Looks good buddy. My buddy Lance has a house on the market in your hood I want to buy for flip but seller is being unreasonable. Been on market forever. Hoping I can get it worked out.
