So when you click the link, it's already scrolled down to that post... know what I mean?

just find a key word in the post you are trying to link
go to the search function of that board and do a search with that keyword and the posters name

no...don't link the whole thread
when the search gives you the results click on the thread title and it should only display the one post you searched for
