Judging by your 378,000 byte signature image, I would speculate your avatar did not meet size specs.

can someone resize it for me. im not too good with computers.
it was displaying before but apparently it got yanked. i changed it to something more fitting so would they turn the "switch" back on?

It's because your avatar was a gif. Gifs aren't allowed in avis unless you were grandfathered in.
Find an image and size it to 150 x 150 pixels.

That image is not 150x150 and the filesize is too large. It needs to be no larger than 30k.
