Have you thought any further about refeeding, lifestyle changes, how to deal with cravings, and things of the sort? It's important because many people fall back into their old habits and feel like they have a cushion because they are smaller.
My lan as of now is to add about 200-400 calories/day and see how my body and weight reacts. If I have a cheat day I'll limit my caloric intake the day after or day before.

That's great to hear! You inspired me to get myself together. I'm 5'11 244lbs 41 years old. Beach vacation first week of June. 215lbs is a weight I would be very happy with. I will check back and hopefully I have some success. Thanks!

You can do it! Just remember.... be DISCIPLINED! It’s a process. It won’t happen overnight. Keep the end goal in mind and it will help!

I'm at 238 as compared to 244 a week and a half ago. I always thought of weight loss like getting a train to go the opposite direction. Long stop to change, then gradual acceleration going the other way. It is going my way now.

Weighed 193 this morning. I started at 229 pounds, I’m 6’1. Really hit it hard this week as I was trying to get down to 195/190 by my 42nd birthday (April 18). When I started 11 weeks ago my goal was 205 by my birthday. Well, here I am at 193 and I’m going for 190 by then, which is in a week and a half.

During these 11 weeks I’ve drank nothing but water ( I’ve alwaus drank nothing but water), I’ll have a few beers in the weekend, no fast food, only have had pizza twice, and my definition of a cheat meal is steak on the occasional Sunday.

My first week or so I really wanted to have a cheat meal, but I decided against it. I’m going to start adding 300-400 calories/ day and see how my body reacts to it.

In reading this thread I hope I’ve motivated someone and helped them with their goal. What I’m doing is not dieting, but started a better lifestyle, because no one cares more about your health than you do. If you are struggling just remember it’s a process. Take it one week at a time and in due time you will get to your goal!!

What my workouts look like:
3-4 times a week I do HIIT training. Sprint 30 seconds, rest 15 seconds. I usually do 16-20 intervals. Weight train 3-4 times a week. Lower weight higher reps. I usually get 16,000-19,000 steps a day durin the week as I walk a lot for my job. When I stared my resting heart rate was 72-74, now my resting HR is 55-56.

Great Work Techdawg, what does your Marco's look like on a avg day?

I started at 230lbs and as of today I am bouncing around 213,

My first goal was 210, but I think I will be shooting for closer to 200lbs, it has not been fast. But I feel its been steady

During the week I eat between 1500-1800 calories, weekend 1200-1500 calories. A lot of fruits, vegetables, oatmeal, ground beef/chicken/steak

I've been following this thread. Good work sir! I started about 60 days ago with low carb eating and exercise daily. Then when I gave up booze for lent, I really started going hard. Started at 270 and I am down to 244 as of last Friday (6 foot even). Had my first real cheat day over this last weekend. If I am in Houston, I am eating at Pappasitos.

Goal is to get to 200 and I think at my current pace, it will be end of August or so.

TechDawg and all the others with great success!
I'll join the Over 40/Keto club.
I'm at 6'0 /248.5lbs/235 is my goal for April 25th at a wedding.
Overall goal 215 for June 27th at Punta Cana
Can I get down to 200 for LSU vs UT in Austin?
Those are my goals at 45 years young.

Why would a steak be a cheat meal? I dont know much about dieting so im just curious about why a steak would be bad.

This is my definition of a cheat meal. Because I haven’t had anything bad at all in 11 weeks

If you really want to mess with your head, youtube Erik the electric, or any strongman cheat days. Your cheat meal is nothing compared to those guys

Made me realize that a decent cheat meal is OK every once in a while

4/16/19 Update. Weighed 193 yesterday. I weighed 193 last week. I added roughly 400 calories/day to my diet last week. So far so good with the added calories
