My wife’s GI started her on a low fodmap diet a couple of years ago and it’s helped both of us. I have this website saved on my phone so I know what she can and can’t have for when I’m at the grocery store or am trying to find ingredients for a recipe.

The main substitutes I’ve used are green onions (only the green parts) for regular onions, garlic infused olive oil for garlic, cucumber for celery and either red or orange bell peppers or I’ll peel the skin off green bell peppers.
