Today we had

Back squat:
Complete 4 sets of 5 reps at 80-82% of our 2RM

Metcon (for time):
27-21-15-9

Thrusters 95 lbs
Handstand Push-ups

Split about 80/20 between SICF and GCF.

Today's workout was:

Front Squats 3x9 @ 60%

8 min amrap
8 cal row
8 wall balls 30/20

I ended up with 6 rounds plus 3 cals

Pretty quick workout after I got some warmup sets of front squats out the way. I did the front squats on a timer, every 2 minutes for 6 minutes.

15 minutes to find a heavy set of 4 on back squat

Metcon
3 rounds:

10 back squats 155/105
5 bar muscle ups
5 front squats 155/105
10 hspu

I scaled everything on the metcon, no shame

Bench 4x6 @67%

Farmer carry db hold 50/35
Accumulate 7 minutes, every break complete 500m row

Thought the farmer hold would be simple and easy, it was not. Ended up with 4 500m rows and a final time of 17:01

Monday's workout..

Warmup

3x12 Back Rack Lunges as heavy as form allows

Five 2 min AMRAPS with 1 min rest between each
12 Cal Assault Bike
8 Deadlift 225 (Rx+)
Max Lateral Burpees over the bar in remaining time

Climbed to 185 on the lunges
56 total reps across the 5 rounds on the burpees

Back in town for the rest of the week's workouts.

Ripped coming down on the 2nd set of climbs coming down too fast.

I go to various CrossFit locations in Shreveport but haven’t been to Sage, I understand it to be nice tho

I can’t really do CrossFit anymore bc I messed my back up bad. But the wifey works out at Sage 3-4 times a week. Did her first completion a month or two ago and killed it.

If genetics would have given her a little more body mass she could really compete. She’s just so small there are a few things that make RX tough.

Forgot to start the stopwatch until after the 1st set, guesstimated it to 6:30
