Did the new CompTrain workout they posted on YouTube

Did the women’s weights and still destroyed me

12 thrusters at 65lbs
12 ab mat sit ups(supposed to be T2B)

20 burpees over the rower
10 power cleans 155/105
Split reps evenly with partner

2 dball cleans (100lbs)

Then
1000m C2 bike
400m run
500m ski erg
3 min rest
500m ski
400m run
1000m bike.

Hated every single minute of it.

I like this.

I'll do this tomorrow since tomorrow is our "open" day, which most people take as their rest day, but I like to do cardio heavy workouts on Thursday.

You won't like it when you are doing it. Someone took a great picture of my sitting on the ground between rounds 7 & 8 starring off into the distance. I have the 1000 yard stare.

I had done a bit of running with a 20lb medball but that 30lb with your heart rate up after the AB got bad. No way to comfortably hold it and run.

Ended up a Slingin Iron CF today to drop something off for Justin at noon and ended up joining the class

Warmup

Strength Portion: Climb to a heavy back squat single
50% x5
60% x4
70% x3
80% x2
90% x1
95% x1

Metcon:
3RFT
200M run
90 DUs
30 Alt DB snatch 50/35

Finished at 335. Everyone else finished this part so I didn't go up to 355.

Metcon: 19 min not Rx.

Left all my shite at home and I can't hit shite for DUs unless it's a rope I've been using for a while. The replacement for 90 DUs was 200 SUs. Honestly, give me the DUs over 600 SUs in a workout.

I got up to 155lb on the C&J. I've done more but I wasn't feeling it, I'm fighting what i think is bicep tendonitis in my right shoulder, all of the murph prep volume is getting my joints achey and stuff.

Got 9 rounds + 2 at 95lb thrusters.

Yeah, I'm trying to rehab it. Rolling it, stretching it, icing it at night, static holds, etc. I think it's getting better.

I found out last week that I have sleep apnea and just got my cpap today. Hope thst helps me recover and stop dealing with recurring tendonitis.

We hit Cindy yesterday for Murph prep.

20 min ARMAP
5 pull-ups
10 push-ups
15 squats

13 Rx+

Finally wore the 5.11 and I’ll have to gradually work my pull-ups in with it. The left elbow told me to frick off in the first round so I was doing slow singles. Tendinitis/arthritis in that fricker sucks.

UB on the push-ups, though.

8 rounds of 1 min on, 1 min off
Squat Clean + Thruster + Jerk (climbing every round)
25 DUs

If you couldn’t complete the movements in the min, you stopped and rested until the next round

Climbed to 185 on the small complex and finished the 25 DUs around the 40 sec mark every round,

This SAHO with my current company has slowed the daily workouts to a crawl. I’ve been lucky to get in 3/week since Jan.

Today:
12 min warmup
100M run
10 junping lunges
10/s med ball pale toss
20” hanging knee tuck

Every 90” for 10 rounds
1 Clean Grip DL + 1 High Hang Squat clean

Optimus Prime
7min AMRAP
Wallballs 20/14
Every min starting at 1:00, 5 deadlift 225/155

Climbed to 185 on the complex
70 wallballs total Rx

Cardio is arse right now.
