I, too, partied with Lindsey. My knee and quad is tight and sore. Def needed the weekend to recover.

I keep my TM artificially low. I started really getting after powerlifting again in April and haven’t missed a day since so I’m ok with knocking it out in two rounds (with good form). I’ve been inconsistent, until April, over the last 5 years. With that being said, here was today’s Squatober for me...
230 x 15 for my first set, and my second set was an easy 6. I slowed my tempo on set two to make it more challenging.
I’ll probably up my TM 5 lbs for the second half of the month but I don’t really care. I’d rather progress slowly as I get older.
This time next year, the numbers will be where I want them to be, but I’ll get there without hurting myself or grinding myself to pulp. I love my garage gym ... it’s where I can get away, so there’s no slowing down anyway.

Squatted 180 or so 3 sets of 7. Not a ton but easing back into it. Legs already feel so much better.

I’m going to run two, 4-week 5/3/1 programs through the end of the year.
The week of Christmas to New Years I may take off and just do bodyweight HIIT that week because I think I’ll be out of town anyway.
January - March I may run something else from Pen and Paper.
April - June probably 5/3/1 BBB. I think the first quarter of next year will be busy for me. (I’ll still hit my lifts) And April - June will give me the time to do BBB because those are long workouts.

I need to read up on 5/3/1 and see what it entails. I’ll probably do something similar. After running yesterday I think I’m gonna sign up for another 1/2 marathon.

Hit 300lbs for 2 this afternoon. That’s a PB for 2 reps for me. Felt like I could have hit a third!

Dang I thought this was Squatober not Benchtober. Tomorrow 15 sets of bench, that will take 45 minutes alone.

I went bring my oldest to school after finishing. Forearms were locking up while driving.
